ALTHOUGH Dale has worked in many media WATERCOLOR remains his favorite. Living and painting in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, he is known for his interpretations of the surrounding lush farmlands and the local Amish community. He describes himself as a regional artist, painting what he loves and knows best. He works in the traditional watercolor manner, - - a direct approach, with luminous, transparent colors. After active army service in Hawaii and the invasion of Saipan during W.W.II, he attended the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art, full time for four years.
